Here’s where we talk about the importance of the spiritual connection between setting your personal goals and walking in the power of God and His will and purpose for your life. You need to align yourself with what He has planned for you and tapping into the scriptures for encouragement and building that aforementioned relationship is the only way.

Some of the most powerful and effective moments of my life that deal with building my relationship with the Almighty come from my acceptance that apart from Him I can do nothing. It’s a rather difficult pill to swallow for most of us. I like to think that I’m truly turning things over to Him (giving him the wheel and letting him drive), but as time goes by and things don’t seem to move at the right speed and direction that I’d like them to, I suddenly find myself grabbing the wheel and ultimately spinning out of control. It takes my surrender to the helplessness of my own humanity and diligent trust that gets me back on the path. God cautions us that we should remember that His dwelling place is inside of us. In Corinthians chapter 3, verse 16 it says, “Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?” This is God reaching out to us, expressing that the Holy Spirit has taken sanctuary in us. That these fragile, flesh covered skeletons have become the ultimate spiritual temple. Therefore, we are no longer slaves to this world and the temptations that exist. We are able to overcome anything that stands against us because what is inside us is greater than what is in the world.

Our thoughts will dictate the state of our hearts. If our thoughts are pure, our hearts will be pure, brimming only with the ability to overcome the deceitful, wicked traps and snares of the enemy. I love what is written in Ezekiel chapter 36, verses 26 and 27. “26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you.” Recall that you have just embarked on a new season in your life through God’s calling. That includes have a new heart, spiritually and physically. The change that you make today is instantaneous. Your heart will begin to receive a healing as soon as you determine that it is necessary. Allow God to do what He promised he would do, by removing that heart of stone and replacing it with a heart of flesh. Once you do, he will pour his spirit inside of it and it will move you. Move you into the reaping of joy and happiness that only comes from the seeds that you scatter into the world through faith and diligence. Your steadfast approach to taking back your health is not your struggle only, but one that will be fought alongside the presence of a living savior. Stand in agreement with the idea that everything you need is right inside of you. I’ve given you the tools, now work in truth.
